Nanguo Food Showcases at 2025 Hainan Int'l Coffee Conference

Haikou, China – August 22, 2025: The inaugural Hainan International Coffee Conference, themed "Connecting World, Sharing Future," opened today at the Haikou Westin Hotel. Co-hosted by the Guangdong Imported Food Association and the Hainan Coffee Industry Association, it gathered nearly 60 international guests from 16 major coffee-producing nations and representatives from across China's coffee industry chain.

Mr. Liu Hanxi, Chairman of Hainan Nanguo Group, attended the conference. Duringa roundtablea discussion on Hainan coffee's opportunities and challenges, Chairman Liu highlighted Nanguo's 30+ year journey alongside the local industry. From coconut powder and candy, Nanguo expanded into coffee, leveraging Hainan's tropical resources and Xinglong coffee beans. He cited products like charcoal-roasted coffee, coconut coffee, and coconut latte, emphasizing how innovation and branding have elevated Hainan coffee beyond a local specialty.

Chairman Liu stressed the golden opportunity presented by Hainan Free Trade Port policies for internationalization and branding. "Nanguo's focus on cold brew and drip coffee aligns with premium and youth trends. We aim to build a distinct Hainan coffee brand, infusing coconut notes and advanced processing to share 'Hainan flavor' globally," he stated.

A key outcome was the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement between Hainan Nanguo Food and Hengtong International Group USA. Mr. Pan Weixiang, Chairman of Hengtong, expressed long-standing admiration for Nanguo. He shared positive feedback from US tastings of Nanguo's coconut latte, confirming its market potential. Hengtong will act as Nanguo's exclusive US distributor.

On August 23rd, Mr. Fu Rong, Marketing Director of Nanguo Health Industry, presented new coffee products, including a Cold Brew Pure Coffee noted for its low-temperature extraction process that preserves original aroma and richness.
